3 Strata Plans Prior to 1st July 1974
The plans referred to in this chapter are those actually prepared, approved and registered under legislation existing prior to 1 July 1974. It does not include plans prepared prior to this date which have been approved by Council and registered under the Strata Schemes (Freehold Development) Act 1973.
Strata lots created under the prior legislation are referred to as derived lots in the current legislation.

Note: A plan approved by Council prior to 1.7.1972 can no longer be registered, as the period of grace allowed to register these plans, after the commencement of the Strata Schemes (Freehold Development) Act 1973, has expired. [See Sch.4 Strata Schemes (Freehold Development) Act 1973]
